August 31, 2005, Hurricane Katrina ravaged St. Bernard Parish.  Many were killed.  Few homes or businesses survived.  Cemeteries are severely damaged across the parish.  The Google aerial view of Reggio Cemetery shows many fallen trees.

Our prayers and hopes go out to St. Bernard parishioners for their losses, both human and property, and for their efforts in trying to recover from this giant disaster.
