Raymond M. 'Mike' Clausen Jr.

was presented the Medal of Honor by President Richard M. Nixon in January, 1970.  The Medal of Honor is the nations highest award for valor.

Additionally, he received the Air Medal with three Gold Stars, the Air Crewman Insignia with three Gold Stars, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Purple Heart and numerous other awards.
